I then asked her if the purposeful bombing of children was also in the name of god and she said yes.

I said what about little kids who get kidnapped and raped and tortured, and she said yes.
She truly believes that ALL actions are justified because they are what god intended.
She thinks that the suffering of children is okay because “they will eventually go to heaven”.

Like our lives on this earth are of no consequence and the only thing that matters is getting to heaven.

I could see myself getting behind the idea of god, as more so a “guiding force” like a spiritual type of big brother that always watches over me, but no, I don’t love the christian/catholic/jewish god.

I think religion is a medium to take advantage of peoples inherent propensity for spiritualism.
