My Covid backup food supplies just got eaten by bugs

Not that it matters now since the whole thing has turned out to be bullshit hyperbole but the months worth of emergency supplies we bought in case of Corona virus forcing a lockdown all just had to be thrown away because bugs got into them. Just literally all of it straight into the fucking trash. I also had to spend some unpleasant amount of time vacuuming/cleaning the room afterward to get rid of all the insects and it was gross af.

Jfl at thinking prepping is anything but a cope tbh. Unless you have a literal bunker where all the food is specifically designed to survive this kinda shit it won't help you. The food was sealed inside bags. It still didn't save it from the bugs.
