Maybe I worded that wrong. She became obsessed with Trump and MAGA and it’s all she can talk about anymore. And I can’t just play along, so we fight.

For instance she says how good the economy is doing even though she doesn’t have a job and the company I work for has frozen pay for almost 2 years now, mostly because of Trump’s tariffs. I’m not just gonna sit there and nod my head when I know this is wrong.

Also I’ll be talking about something totally random, like going to the dentist or cleaning out my car, and she’ll find a way to bring politics or something else negative into the conversation.
