It wss mych less to do with looks but more so our outlooks on life, he would tell me to just go up and make friends when I was an ugly loser with diagnosed autism (he has the same condition ironically, im a mirror of him) and when I explained I havw tried and that I cant make friends with people he would say im just judgemental and paranoid, ironically becoming better looking did far more than any advice he gave me which made our relationship better lol
