I realized it quite late but all my achievements were indirectly my dad's achievements. His money, his connections, the doors he quietly opened behind the scenes that made it all possible in the first place. They were the invisible hand guiding me while I was busy thinking I was fighting my own battle but I was actually privileged. I now realize that there were people who were making it easier for me. I just had to show up and execute. He is the real MVP in my life.

im switching school next year for my final year of high school just for the connections

my current school is in a poorer area, people's parents are all first gen immigrants, they all work low paying jobs etc

but in the new school, all the parents make a minimum of 80k a year on average and are in many managerial roles

i spoke to people from it this summer and i even landed work experience at a top 5 global financial firm

networking and connections are everything- worth more than grades or univerities
