My mom is against it and I am against it.

I am so mad, just as I am about to get my drivers license, he will replace his cool Jaguar that every one of my classmates envied with a grandpa car that costs 60k.

Because it's "reliable" :soy: :forcedsmile: :sick:

I have nothing in my life going on, people thought that I was rich and I thought I could at least drive a nice car, maybe that would hit my dopamine deprived brain with a hit of dopamine, but no. My dad doesn't know what it feels like to be a subhuman virgin at 18. He's taller than me, has a shorter midface than me, better hair and a forward grown chin.

Even ER mogs me at this point, he had a BMW 3 series and 500 $ glasses.

British, Italian and even Swedish cars mog. Germans sold out making jacks of all trades and trying to scam customers with sneaky party tricks.

BMW and Mercedes aren't even considered luxurious cars anymore (except BMW 7, 8, i8 and Mercedes S class, G Wagon and Maybach). Porsche is still decent and cool. Volkswagen is a peasant brand, always has been. Can't stand middle class kids who buy Golf GTIs with 250 HP and flex them. Golfs are ugly as a motherfucker, grandpa cars tbh. I would rather drive a Japanese car than German tbh. Japanese people design cars so much better.

If you can buy a supercar then Italian is your best option. If you will lease a car and have enough money, go for British (Land Rover, Jaguar). Because my dad's friends owned Land Rovers and after 3 years you can expect for it to start breaking down and shit so you need to get it serviced regularly, NEVER BUY A LAND ROVER, always lease one and buy brand new so you will have the 4 year warranty, then replace it. Same with Jaguar, my dad owned one for 3 years now, it's leased but there's no warranty on it anymore, it broke down 2 months ago and he had to go get it serviced. They wanted to charge him 14k to replace the engine and that car is only 5 years old. He was able to fix it then somehow for a lot cheaper, but just temporarly. That's the main reason he's getting rid of the Jaguar.

Also the Brits are catching up with the Italians. The new 765LT is fire. Top handling, good looks, sharp as knife steering, super fast acceleration.

If only they could make them more reliable. The Jaag XE sedan, is another great family, car - good looks by Aston Martin's Ian Callum, top handling in its class at the time, aluminum components suspension, aluminum parts monocoque, comfy nice leather seats and the top version P8 the fastest sedan around the Nurburgring. But questionable reliability. The F-pace is the SUV version of that.

So it's lease or you buy an extended warranty et al and get a second car a cheap Honda in case it breaks down. But otherwise excellent cars. Not as conservative as the Germans but also not as fussy as the Italians (XE vs Giulia, 720s vs F8, Emira vs 4C, etc). And both the Germans and the Italians make unreliable cars.
