You are lowkey right but it is really hard to study when

Use supabase.com for the backend and don't fuck up like Sean Cook (founder of the Tea app). He used Firebase for verification photos and left the URL for his DB public, so it was the equivalent to a Google Drive link.

I don't want to hear any fucking bullshit about my stack you monkey nigger. It's popular, and I host on Vercel because I need their remote deployment API so I can deploy additional hosting from my app where my SaaS is connected because that's critical to my business so kill yourself.

I never claimed to be high-IQ! I actually think I’m more an average IQ or perhaps +/-0.5SD. I wasn’t going to roast you haha.

I just find it tedious. If you have the balls to use it, it’s amazing, no doubt! I tagged Jason because we spoke about Next in the past when developing something.

I think. Next.js with Vercel is a smart move for SaaS if you want speed, minimal ops overhead it just works without much friction.

That said if you ever outgrow Vercel’s opinionated flow or need more control I think Render or Railway are solid middle grounds. And if you’re comfortable getting your hands dirty, going fully manual with CI/CD, Docker and a cloud provider gives you the most flexibility and more granular control but obv needs more more upfront effort.

Not every applications need the complexity of manual CI/CD pipelines or Kubernetes these only makes aense when a company reaches a certain scale but still many companies want manual setups to avoid vendor lock in, and hate relying on third parties for mission critical apps unless it’s a behemoth like Amazon AWS itself which cannot fail. CI/CD and Kubernetes only make sense when you need extreme customization massive scale or specific compliance requirements. That is when you hire a devops engineer someone like me.
