i went to sleep last night, depressed as fuck but woke up in an okay mood and decided I would cut my hair short today (big mistake)

I went to the central business district to apply for my ID and to take an ID photo.
as I got there I was getting brutally heightmogged as usual but whatever.
I had the photo taken and it looked quite OK but the lady said my hair can't be in my face so I had to retake it with my hair pushed back, and so I did but this time it was the worst photo I've ever seen of myself (I'm exaggerating but my face looked so asymmetrical and my hair looked terrible).
I feel like the mirror is a lying scam and I have no idea what I actually look like.

after taking the picture, i went to cut my hair, probably the best and most redeeming feature. now my hair is short and I look stupid as fuck, I must rope.

You look very handsome + it will grow back. You just had a bad day. Bad days can physically make you look worse but it's temporary. It will be ok. Just do something you enjoy.

I understood how much feeling good/feeling bad can have an effect on your looks, when I saw a cute girl. I was staring at her and I wasn't sure at the time but I think she really liked it. She looked so fucking good and cool I thought she wouldn't like me at all. I got insecure and didn't approach ( I have done cold approaches before). I let this one slide. Then later she came back from where she was going, and I couldn't believe my eyes. She looked nothing special. She was upset also.
