- Sourcing, was super easy I ordered wondertox 100u from Korea it came with saline and all supplies I ordered extra saline on accident lol, total with shipping was like $70

- Prep, I do recommend researching if you plan on doing DAO and ensure where your muscle is as it varies, but generally one cm across and down from the corner of your mouth, alar is just ur nostrils however I recommend marking a little more posterior as that aspect is more responsible in flaring, however, you could do a unit in each if u want. septi nasi is easy just the most painful imo. I used 5% lidocaine cream and wrapped area in cling fllm
-
- reconstitution, I did 2.5ml per 100U so that 10 units on the syringe is 4 units of botox. so a 0.5ml syringe can hold 20 units of tox, I reconstituted and let it sit for 10 mins just to let everything dissolve in the mean time I removed the 5% lidocaine numbing cream and cleaned the area with alcohol swabs and marked sights
- syringes, prepared my syringes you can do one per two injection if you think you have good control over how much you're injecting otherwise stick to one per injection. (5 units = 2 units botox, 10 units = 4 units of botox)
- start, I started with DAO which I went 2mm and 2 units each side just because I was scared of hitting wrong muscle next time ill go 3-4mm and 3 units of tox. was not painful I also pretty much went 90 degrees.
- I did depressor next, this was the most painful I did 3 units 6mm depth with like a 45 ish degree angle up.
- lastly alar I did a superficial injection (1-2mm) with a slight angle
- also, avoid numbing cream if you think you'll mess up needle depth. besides, it did not even numb anything for me as my % was low but its all I had access to OTC
- after care, just wipe any blood and clean everything I kept my head up for a lil but you don't need to follow the 4 hour rule just don't do anything aggressive and give it two weeks.
- I froze my reconed vial as though efficacy drops over a couple months if you need a top up after two weeks you can thaw it, and if you feel comfortable use it again a few month later. (study: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10695379/ )
