So my fasting blood glucose was tested 5.78 nmol/L before starting HGH.

Then I went to my doctor and had a blood glucose monitor used - blood glucose came out to 5.5.

He then said just to make sure we’ll do a full blood test again.

Now this test came out to 6.17 nmol/L.

Am I cooked guys :feelswah: wtf do I even do in this situation?

6.17 is barely above normal, docs just flag it as “impaired fasting glucose” at worst, not straight diabetes. HGH will raise fasting glucose/insulin resistance but they won’t instantly assume gear unless you look like you';ve been taking it

Just act clueless, say you’ve been eating more carbs/sugar or stressed lately. If ur worried, cut carbs a few days before retest and maybe throw in some cardio to lower it

What is the question? What do you think is gonna happen? Youre not gonna go to jail or get any punishment because you have higher fbg. Just be honest with your doctor and let him help you

guys my concern isnt a doctor “snitching” on me :feelspepo:

im 20 fucking years old

i do whatever the fuck i want

my concern was whether this could keep getting worse and would result in me becoming diabetic or worse, as my blood glucose jumped by like 0.5 nmol/L in just one month, and im obviously planning on staying on hgh for 6-12 months.

Run GLP like reta, on GH my fasted BG was 6.3mmol then i ran higher dose reta and it was down to 4.8 (also my technique was wrong wasnt cleaning hands beforehand testing)

Easier way aswell
Eat clean and low carbs (keto if possible) or,
Buy Metformin take 1000mg
or SGLT2 Inhibs (this doesnt cause igf 1 loss even though it doesnt matter realistically when your pinning exogenous GH)

was that 6mmol fasted or did you eat anything beforehand, i always give 8-12 hours before i test fasted BG and eat clean the day before (no high carbs) Also test at home your fasted AND post BG after a meal (2 hours post meal) both matter. Also you better be doing fasted cardio zone 2-3 for ATLEAST 30 MINS in the morning MINIMUM this is EXTREMELY important for your BG levels on GH. Btw you wont turn diabetic however you are prediabetic rn though, 5.6mmol is the edge of prediabetic so id be careful with your dose and follow everything i just said

Mark me as a solution because this is high iq or dont idk

twin, i thought youd give more high iq answers this is like bare minimum at higher doses this wont help too much since he was already prediabetic before he started

wont do reta rn, im already struggling w eating enough food cuz i starvemaxxed before

it was fasted - dinner at like 7pm, then blood was taken at like 9am next day

im at 6.1 now, not 5.6 - thats my concern. my bg went up 0.5 in the matter of a few weeks… if it keeps going up im lowk dead

cardio in the morning id love to but i started uni and now im waking up at 6am and having 12hr days :feelsrope:

but i walk a lot on campus - did like 10km my first day :feelskek:

doctor was concerned and called me - we are scheduling the test where they take my blood, i drink a sugary water solution, wait 2 hrs and then they take my blood again to see how my body deals with glucose.

let’s hope for a good result. might skip one dose the day before just to be sure

Dude then dont eat until you do your cardio, by me walking my BG went from 6.3 to 5.2mmol insanely important you do this daily. 0.5 in a few weeks is fine, your not managing your insulin correctly like i said use metformin or SGLT2 Inhibs which you can easily both get from india and your BG will be fine. walking isnt zone 2 cardio does not matter you should always try do 30 minutes of zone 2 cardio you surely dont have 12 straight hours of uni so find free time and do it even a light jog around uni should be fine for zone 2 just measure your BPM and jog around.
