my dog that i loved so much even though my family hated randomly died in her sleep at 3 years old while i was on vacation.

im finally back from vacation and i thought i got over it but realizing shes really gone when i opened the door and she wasnt there to jump on me just made me bawl out in tears. and on a side note i told my girl i wanna take a break and this attention whore is mad at me so honestly im even having second thoughts about our relationship.

I had a dog die while i was on vacation, deffo difficult to process at first but even after you realise it's really gone you'll get over it quick trust me. Grew up with dogs I've lost many dogs but at the end of the day you'll realise there isn't a deep enough connection to miss it that deeply it's more shock in the moment.

Over the dog. Get over it quick. Too much attachment to animals is one of the things that's very wrong with American society. When people begin to value animals as much as they would human beings then they get really stupid.
