But never worked for it... I wish I could be a professional producer but now i'm 24 years old and I can't do shit.

well start now

Tons of people now in the music sphere. It's almost impossible to stand out. But I said it before to someone else here who wanted to do music. Being part of a lively music scene that is upcoming (underground) is the best. You can shine there and there's motion there. At 24 you are able to be part of that still IMO. I am now early 30s and my peers are all settled in their preferred scene. Incl. musicians. No way I can be part of something new without looking like an unc who wants to hang with the cool kids.

Just being a beatmaker/straight forward music producer now is stupid because even little kids of 13 can make beats with tutorials. You need to be part of a movement/scene that has it's own style, parties, fans, etc. Or create that movement. Even if it's small it's a lot of fun. For example I followed some guys in their early 20s from Sweden/Scandinavia. Like 5 artists who were part of the same group and they really created something cool. Albeit still underground and smaller they do have a fanbase and they are having fun making their music.

But I also noticed myself that my ambition was never really music and thus never put 100% into it. Although I probably made 500+ tracks over the years (10+ years) and I now produce on a very high level. It can also stay a hobby.
