I have tried a good amount of things that can fall under 'making money online'
and this has been my experience till now and what I've learnt from it all.
These are all of the things that I did that I can remember currently.
E-mail marketing (did not work for me as it requires a lot of e-mail contacts AND you'll likely just go to spam folder or just ignored)
Affiliate marketing (did not work for me as it requires some sort of social media presence which I didn't have)
Print on Demand (This is high-effort low reward, as far as I tried and have seen from others' experience, takes a lot lot of time to build upon and AGAIN, it too requires a social media presence to actually be successful)
Selling Notion Templates - I actually got a few sales from this one without having a social media presence (I used to post pins on pinterest for these but I'm pretty sure someone bought it directly from the marketplace rather than the pins) This is something that would be very very successful if you have a social media presence and I plan to do this later
Reselling online - This would have definitely worked but I'm a minor and setting up a business account required some documents that are only made after you become an adult so couldn't do this one (might do it later), also this requires
Surveys (obvious bullshit did this when I was like 9 ig)
(or even if not an actually engaging audience that trusts you or something, you do need subs/follows so your posts about the product can reach more ppl)
Now, My plan after having learnt all of this
(forgot to mention but at times I couldn't go too deep or give too much time to these other than the notion one coz I'm simultaneously studying for an exam)
Keep in mind that I'm preparing for this exam (one of the hardest in the world)
I'll have to study for a whole another year for this exam and all of this will be done after I'm done with the exam
-I'm going to get a new laptop in a few months (my PC sucks ahh rn)
-After the exam (in college, studying CS), I'm going to do video editing (I have a friend that is already doing it and he's making around a 1000$ a month with this and he knows where to find the clients and he'll be helping me out)
-I'll be doing video editing, simultaneously I'll be practicing art (I've been into it since 2021) and save some money get a drawing tab.
-I'll then be starting a few youtube channels, Now, One of these will be one where I use my editing skills and make edits, One will be some animated videos (fanmade stuff and story time and just my views, video essays and content), One will be NSFW art stuff (might make a few more but that'll be a bit too much for me to handle) [I have done some content creation in the past so I know what will work and what won't]
-I'll grow the channels and make patreon for all the channels
-I will then start working on a WebToon (me and my artist friends have planned to do that) and for that we'll be crowdfunding online and the YT channel will help with this a lot.
-While working on all of this (after building some substantial amount of following), I will be learning game-dev
and research all about trading and more business related stuff that I can find (recommend some if you can)
I'll then be using all of the stuff that had previously not worked due to the lack of following to gain extra profit.
What do y'all think of the plan?
I hope this helps someone looking to earn money online
TLDR : can't really summarise it, just read the stuff

If you actually read the above stuff, then you can see a common requirement for them to actually make money Having social media presence or Having an actual following.(or even if not an actually engaging audience that trusts you or something, you do need subs/follows so your posts about the product can reach more ppl)
