I can’t say about this guy you mention but as an Indian who has also lived a lot in other Asian countries in the past, my understanding is that dark skin is a huge deal here because Asians and Indians are very racist themselves. And the media portrayal of black men is also bad. Just like dating a White person is a huge status boost, dating a black would be the opposite here. As a black you have a better chance with ONS but LTR would be much harder due to this reason. Not trying to be racist here, these are not my thoughts, just how the society here thinks and works.

A decent looking black guy may do well here but he would likely do much better in other parts of the world so if I was black I’d keep Asia as the last option.
