Played the guitar (and drums a bit) for a theater group from my school on a regional theater festival this week. During this, I made some interesting observations and experiences:
The people:
Something that stood out to me the most were the discreptancies in the people. In every group, 80% of people were sub5 weird ass theater kids. In contrast to this, there were always at least 3 people who were above average in looks and actually normal. It was interesting seeing this, as there was no middle ground. Oftentimes those people also kept more to themselves, both in their group and between groups.
Some other funny / interesting things I noticed:
- There was one group where everyone had an insane philtrum (like a 1.5/1 chin to philtrum ratio at least. One girl genuinly had a chin smaller than her philtrum. In the same group, there was a guy that literally didnt have a philtrum. Maybe they invented philtrum transplant surgery or something because that was quite odd
My experience:
I found it quite interesting seeing all these people. I got a nice ego boost from being glazed (though everyone got glazed). The time before was quite stressful, so I don't think I'd do it again but it was alright. Also a gay dude hit on me, not sure how to think about that.
