Disclaimer: I'm writing this post to document my personal looksmaxxing experience. This is just for fun — I'm doing this because I'm bored. This is not medical advice, nor do I claim that anything I did will work for everyone. My goal is to share what I've learned — what worked, what didn’t — so others might benefit from my journey or help me optimize it further.

Everything I share here is based on my own experimentation, research, and results. I’m always open to feedback, suggestions, or constructive criticism — especially if it’s about my lack of knowledge. This is a long-term process, and I’m still trying to understand how things really work. If you're on a similar path, maybe this post helps you skip some of the mistakes I made.

Part 1 – Introduction

1.1 – Why and How I Started with LooksmaxxingBack in 2023, when looksmaxxing started to appear on German TikTok FYPs, I actually hated it — for like 2 to 3 weeks. I thought it was cringe, obsessive, and lowkey insecure. But eventually, I got hooked.

It all started with fragrance and basic skincare:

  • “Use this CeraVe cleanser for your acne.”
  • “Apply an ice roller every morning.”
  • “Just buy One Million Fragnrance”
  • “Chico vs. Jordan glow-up comparison.”Blah blah blah — pure coping stuff.
At first, I really hated this new trend. It felt fake, shallow, and repetitive. But after seeing it again and again, I couldn’t lie to myself anymore — I was already hooked.

That’s when I realized the first step wasn’t changing my skin or buying some product. Before I could even begin, I had to figure out who I actually was and where I actually stood. I didn’t know myself. No real self-image. No direction. Just reacting to things, hoping something external would fix the internal mess.

Looksmaxxing wasn’t just about improvement. It was about identity — and about how people subconsciously judge and treat you without even realizing it. It was also about one bigger goal:

Living a happy and unrestricted life — without limitations. That’s the real endgame.

1.2 – Myself I’m 18 years old (born 11/2006), living in Germany. When the looksmaxxing trend hit TikTok, I was around 16 — late 2022 to early 2023. That was also the time I slowly started realizing how little control I had over my appearance.

My starting point back then:

  • Bloated face
  • Medium to high body-fat percentage
  • Hormonal acne
  • Delayed puberty signs (soft features, low facial definition)
  • No self-consciousness, because I didn’t realize how much looks mattered
  • No awareness — just existing
From my point of view back then, I wasn’t ugly. But I also wasn’t anything. Just normal, not good-looking, and not standing out in any way. Just average. Forgettable.

I had no identity, no self-image, no structure.

Looksmaxxing wasn’t just a hobby I picked up. It became the framework I'm using to build myself from scratch. From that point on, every change I made wasn’t just aesthetic — it was about becoming someone real. Someone remarkable.

Part 2 – Development

2.1 – Skincare & Acne Protocol

09/2023 – 09/2024: Basic Skincare Routine

  • Salicylic acid cleanser
  • Niacinamide serum
  • Moisturizer with SPF
Result:

  • No improvement in acne
  • Slightly more glow and smoother surface, but inflammation stayed
  • Acne still hormonal and deep-rooted
04/2024 – 09/2024: Trying everything else (knowledge arc)

  • 3x professional skin cleansing in a dermatology clinic
  • Topical treatments:
    • Benzoyl peroxide
    • Prescription retinol
    • Topical antibiotics (clindamycin etc., for me it was minocyclin)
Result:

  • Professional cosmetic cleansing did nothing except make it worse
  • Benzoyl peroxide bleached my clothes, and pillowcase — and basically just burned pimples off
  • Skin barrier got destroyed
  • Retinol: No visible reaction except more sunburn risk (could be a lack of consistency)
  • Topical antibiotics: Useless — zero effect
10/2024 – 03/2025: Dermatologist arc

  • First dermatologist visit
  • 2 months oral antibiotics
  • 4.5 months Accutane (Isotretinoin) at 0.5 mg/kg daily
Result:

  • Oral antibiotics: No acne improvement — just destroyed my gut microbiome
  • Accutane: The first thing that actually worked
  • Surfaced deep acne daily for months
  • Purge was brutal
  • Side effects were very real, but I won’t go into that here
After using accutane the only thing that's left is the scarring. To fix this, I'm using a prescribed azelaic acid (which is surprisingly effective) and tretinoin (topical isotretinoin — less effective basically).

2.2 – Peptides & Hormonal EnhancementGoal:

  • Maximize puberty and potential growth
  • Increase GH/IGF-1 for facial bone development
03/2025: Kisspeptin-10

After getting my bloodwork done, I was shocked:Testosterone level: 223 ng/dl (clinically low for an 18 y/o male)

Could’ve been lifestyle, stress, or possibly the aftermath of Accutane — doesn’t matter. I wanted to fix it without shutting down my natural production.

That’s when I started using Kisspeptin-10, a peptide that stimulates natural GnRH → LH/FSH → Testosterone, without suppressing the HPTA axis like exogenous TRT would.

Dose: 10 mg total over 3–4 weeks (100–150 mcg/day, split AM/PM)

Effect: noticeable libido & energy rise after ~1 week

Follow-up blood test:Testosterone increased to 830 ng/dl(Yes, from 223 → 830 in less than a month)

Ranking: 9.5/10

03/2025 – CJC-1295 (no DAC) + Ipamorelin

Right after starting Kisspeptin, I also began using CJC-1295 without DAC and Ipamorelin to stimulate GH and, downstream, IGF-1.

Dose:
  • 100 mcg CJC-1295 no DAC
  • 100 mcg Ipamorelin
  • Injected 2× daily (AM & PM, fasted)
Goal:
  • GH pulses
  • Promote collagen synthesis, fat mobilization, and facial bone density (via IGF-1)
Effect after ~8 weeks:
  • Better sleep
  • Slightly tighter skin
  • Fullness in facial structure (subtle but noticeable yet)
  • Possibly synergistic with Kisspeptin — hormonal baseline felt restored
Ranking: 7.5/10 Not as dramatic as Kisspeptin, but feels like solid background support. Especially good for long-term bone-structure gains and recovery.

Melanotan-2: Das Bräunungs-PeptidDuring one summer I used a nose spray form of MT-2. It did nothing. The summer next year I tried injecting it: 160 mcg MT-2 daily for about 1–2 weeks. I have skin type 2 I think and it was very effective.I used just a little dose and wasn’t even in the sun much, but still got asked if that was my natural skin tone because I looked tanned.

2.3 – Supplement StackGoal:

  • Boost bone density and facial bone remodeling (zygomas, mandible)
  • Support hormonal balance & testosterone
  • Improve skin healing and reduce inflammation
  • Cover essential minerals & deficiencies
Some of the following are just side minerals of main supplements but included anyways. Some of these are really unnecessary but I use:

Bone Support (Facial Structure Focus)Strontium (500 mg/day)Mimics calcium, increases osteoblast activity.Shown to improve bone density in studies.Ranking: 8/10 – solid core compound

Boron (8 mg/day)Increases free testosterone.Supports bone mineralization.Ranking: 8.5/10 – feels like it synergizes well with Kisspeptin

Silica / Silicium (3 mg/day)Supports collagen formation and mineral transport.Mostly for skin and long-term bone structure.Ranking: 6.5/10 – very subtle, long-term play

Vitamin D3 + K2 (125 mcg D3 / MK-7 combo)D3 for testosterone and immune function.K2 to direct calcium into bones instead of arteries.Ranking: 9/10 – absolute staple

Calcium (800 mg) + Magnesium (400 mg)Cofactors for bone metabolism.Magnesium also helps with sleep and recovery.Ranking: 7.5/10 – essential support, not dramatic

Hormonal / Metabolic SupportZinc (15 mg), Copper (2 mg), Selenium (150 mcg)Support testosterone production, thyroid function, and antioxidant defense. Also prevent imbalances during peptide use.Ranking: 7/10 – critical background support

Manganese (2 mg x2)Involved in collagen synthesis and bone health.Potentially overdosed, still monitoring effects.Ranking: 5/10 – may be unnecessary in high dose

Chromium (500 mcg) + Molybdenum (500 mcg)Assist in glucose metabolism and trace element balance.Added to cover all micronutrient bases.Ranking: 6/10 – not essential unless deficient

Skin / Recovery SupportNAC (800–1000 mg)Boosts glutathione, reduces oxidative stress.Helped during Accutane phase, supports clearer skin.Ranking: 8.5/10 – strong overall recovery agent

Ashwagandha (1200 mg)Reduces cortisol, may enhance testosterone slightly.Felt calming and helped mental stability.Ranking: 7.5/10 – more mental than visual, still useful

Vitamin C (1000 mg)Supports collagen synthesis and general recovery.Used daily, especially after Accutane.Ranking: 7/10 – standard but important

Summary:This stack isn’t magic, but it creates the internal conditions needed for results especially talking about bone-density.Peptides, recovery, bone gains – all rely on having proper mineral and hormonal balance.

2.4 – Lifestyle & Nutrition

Goal:Similar to the others.

  • Diet: Changed my diet from processed food, industrial sugar and too much calorie to a calorie deficit, with great diet using a lot of animal products, zero calorie drinks and 3L water daily.
  • 8h good quality sleep each day
  • Basic hygiene
Overall Result:Since this started in 2023 I've gained a lot of confidence talking about my looks. It's way easier to connect to people and talk with them — whether female or male. I feel like I get treated more positively, and I’m generally happier because I don’t need to think about being uglier than anyone else. Quite the opposite.

Even though my ascension is just beginning and I'm still far from where I want to be, I'm really satisfied with my current progress.Below are three pictures from 2023, 2024, and two from 2025.

In the near future im going to keep using the supplements and high protein diet and use peptides like ghk-cu, ipa + cjc no dac, kisspeptin

If I made any mistake or misunderstood something, feel free to correct me.If you have questions about anything I did or want to share your own results, please reply or DM me.I’m still learning like everyone else does.
