My experience with diuretics and how i got renal inflammation

FUROSEMIDE (loop diuretics):

i was dosing around 40mg every fortnight for a couple months, until i decided to pop 80mg one day and i kid u not i did NOT piss for at least 30 hours, i ended up with nephritis and i had to hop off any type of diuretic for a while and treatment was not looking bright

THIAZIDE DIURETICS:
relatively weak diuretics, didn't really do much, i was pissing regularly but i didnt lose any noticeable amount of water, wouldnt recommend

POTASSIUM SPARING DIURETICS (epl):

Best type of diuretic, very noticeable results with NO risk of nephritis, what you'd get at most is hyperkalemia, i make sure to get bloods every once in a while nd avoid potassium supps, thats it, don't stay on it for too long though


CONCLUSION:
loop diuretics like furo are a twice every month thing at MAX, genuinely dangerous and if i didnt get treatment immediately i wouldve ended up with chronic nephritis for life, epl 50mg is fine to cycle for a while but i wouldn't stay on it for too long at at a time either
