yesterday I took 200mg modafinil with 6 sugar glazed donuts.
I didn't really feel any extreme euphoria, but I was able to stay focused on work the whole day so the drug may've worked, or it may've simply been a nocebo. Around 20 minutes after taking, I felt a little dizzy and had some cramps, but this was likely due to dehydration rather than the modafinil itself. I noticed I didn't really feel any mental fatigue despite working over 11 hours that day on long math assignments.
the only issue I had was struggling to fall asleep at night. I took mk677 too, which usually gives me vivid dreams and yesterday I had 2/3 different dreams, but my sleep was very disjointed and I could not fall asleep properly.
I've heard modafinil acts similar to caffeine in the way it keeps you awake, but this was over 12 hours since taking the 200mg. Nonetheless it has a half-life of 12-15 hours so it's reasonable that sleep quality is impaired.
Overall, I would take it again if I had to stay focused the whole day, but not regularly to ensure I 1. don't build up tolerance and 2. can sleep properly.
