Not a guide (despite the flair), but I can offer advice to anybody interested.

Showed signs of promising effects at 20mg, but ultimately ended up being completely useless in practice because my body eviscerates Methylphenidate. Luckily no side effects besides the energy crash, but is annoying to use since you need to eat a meal with it. For most people (especially at such low doses) it's usually just an entry drug to test for latent heart conditions. If you're going to use Medikinet, I suggest the instant release version instead.
Works very well, especially if you need something that lasts way longer than typical brands of Methylphenidate. Lasted 6-8 hours for me more or less, but it amplified my social anxiety and ended up not being a sustainable long term solution considering I was already not responding to Methylphenidate medication as well as my psychiatrist was hoping. The jump between 36mg, 45mg and 56mg is pretty noticeable each time, and I had fun once using it to stay awake for almost three days straight but I ended up losing several kilos and felt like I was about to go through cardiac arrest, but overall a recommendable drug if you respond well to Methylphenidate.
Currently titrating, and there's definitely a huge difference in how it works compared to the way cheaper and more widely available meds based on Methylphenidate. I'm currently on 30mg, and the effect is much more subtle. I never got to reap the full benefits of Methylphenidate because it doesn't work well for me, but even then it is definitely something that requires you to really put your back into whatever you're focusing on. Unfortunately ADHD meds aren't miracle pills so you'll need to learn how to actually take the initiative to get going and focus on your work, but even then I would argue that Elvanse is a less preferable option even though it's ultimately Lisdexamfetamine. This is however just my personal opinion, and I've heard most people prefer it by a large margin compared to everything else the EU permits. A big thing to consider is that Elvanse is VERY expensive. One month's worth of 30mg costs 400zł in Poland (94,60 €), which is insanely expensive for most people, and getting to Elvanse takes a while to get to since psychiatrists are reluctant to give it to anybody without exploring all other stimulant options first due to it's abuse risk.

I may try something like Atomoxetine in the future, but I'm hoping Elvanse saves me once I titrate to higher doses.
