took 5 mg of dihexa four days ago, haven’t done anything since but I’ll probably take some more today. The first hour in a half I took it I was very overstimulated I could hear even the smallest background noises around me which my brain usually tunes out. I started stimming like an autist aswell lmao and started making connections to things I never really made connections to before. I also had this overwhelming desire to take in as much information as possible and pay attention in class. My brain was moving so fast though that everyone around me seemed to be talking in slow motion, I could also easily multitask during this time frame. Like I said previously this was only for the first hour to an hour and a half. after that I had a huge crash and when classes were done I took a nap, but even when I napped it’s like I was still conscious, in my dreams I was making rational decisions and was lying often to the people in my dreams, convincing them not to do something they would regret ect. Anyways after I woke up I didn’t really feel overstimulated like I was before more like I was functioning at my peak mental clarity I just felt like an enhanced version of my normal self. Those effects lasted for a a full day but after that it’s been a decline, I feel more tired and it’s harder for me to focus in school.

On a separate note, I took this test it’s not a real IQ test or anything but I thought it would be a good metric since your working memory can’t improve by taking a test multiple times to fraud results as you can with other sub tests. it’s hard capped no matter how many times you take it, unless actual improvement to brain function have been made. This digital version is good especially since the numbers repeated are always randomized so you can’t just study the numbers that will be repeated. https://cognitivemetrics.com/test/CAIT_DS

When I took it in the past I got 121, when I took it on Dihexa I got 137

what method did you use to take it? i've heard in can only be used transdermally but i can only find it online in powder and liquid forms

Dihexa was developed to be bioavailable so I don’t think transdermal is the only way to take it, I take mine orally. Just reading research papers confirms this. But I will say the effects have diminished recently. Usually what happens when I take it is I’m able to think clearly and make connections easier for two days but I’m pretty sure it drains my brain because for the next 3 days it’s hard to function and think. I always get very tired and have started taking a lot more naps increasing synapses in your brain expends a lot of energy. I’m taking a break from it for now and might switch to semax and selank and only use dihexa at high doses during midterms and finals week.

Where'd u source from

do you think its safe to take long term, does it continuously improve iq/memory is it more of a short term thing?

def not safe long term I already stopped taking it because of how potent it is. Made me more autistic(temporarily). and above I listed some of the side effects.

Interesting… I thought the main use case of dihexa was to promote neurogenesis, which is meant to increase iq over time right?

yes but all the studies conducted were over three weeks, long term effects arent know, dont bother taking it if your ATP production isnt top notch either. And prolonged hgf c met pathway activation can lead to cancer.

That sounds more like coke than anything mate hahaha, it's not a stimulant, you shouldn't be feeling that way especially not temporary, it's more like gradual increase in cognitive ability

no the effects lasted days

5 mg/week, im low bodyweight which is why i took less though
5mg a week is way too little to notice anything. A human equivelent dose to the dosages used in rodent studies would come down to ab 30mg a day

dude i was on it and im telling you I expierienced something very real that definitely wasnt placebo. and i think the rodent studies it was 40 mg/ day scaled to human bodyweight. Just because that was the dose tested in rat models doesnt mean taking a lesser dose will not grant you effects. many people who actually take the drug stick to 5-10 mg, It is very energy intensive for your brain to form new neural connections and i was constantly napping and sleeping throughout it but my dreams were very sharp and vivid, also learning how to code came easier
