my favorite fighting mangas/manwhas(no particular order)

1. fight class 3

Its an insanely philosophical manwha and covers topics like free will, transhumanism, Nietzsche's ubermensch, his allegory of the camel, lion and child etc.

2. Shamo

The main character is the most fucked up piece of shit I've ever read in any manga/manwha. He is "evil" by any sense of most peoples views on morality, and yet the series is written in such a way that I find his actions understandable which is quite scary. I almost can't blame him for being so evil.

3. Holyland

It can be slow for some people but still an insanely good read

4.

The breaker

its follows the story of an incel who trains and discovers his own power and defeats his bullies. Its good some may find it generic.

none of them are power fantasy except for the breaker maybe, but its still insanely good

if you're not into dark manga/manwha I wouldn't read fight class 3 or Shamo. Fc3 is light hearted at first but it gets very dark and fucked up in the later chapters

and shamo has the most fucked up protagonist I've ever seen as I said before.

also fc3 can be abit difficult to understand because in the later chapters it gets very philosophical, people in the community often debate the meaning of the later parts of the manwha

i don't mind them being dark i just hate the solo leveling type of stories, they're very bland

I just remember the pacing being so bad it felt like a time skip happened in the middle of the story. I don't doubt the philosophical aspects might've been good although I don't really remember because I binged it like a year ago maybe, probably longer

Yea that is one of the biggest complaints.

But after rereading the manwha it’s clear the dude was always insane

He was a ticking time bomb
