No I read the manga before the anime was released, the anime might be ass but I’ve reread the manga 4 times there’s 200+ chapters (I don’t remember if they hit 300 or not but I’m catched up)

Yeah the Manga did it 10000x Better. And her character really unfolds super well along the story; I wont spoil.
The point is is that Its a play on Shonen charecters & tropes really.

I prefer the Manga since its more real and less pompous then the anime, which is sometimes overstylised with the over the top music.

Also the manga is more brutal and the art is good at conveying emotion.

Although the anime is a good choice too, def one of the best anime adaptation (atleast the first 3 seasons, haven't watched the last)
