Outperformance occurred on FC (factual correctness), CON (conciseness), and related aspects in non-English Indic settings but in English they were very close. Kan-Llama was at AGG 1.01 vs. GPT-4o was at 0.91. AGG (Aggregate/overall score) but the key wins were in multilingual models. Tbh its expected for specialized smaller language models to outperform frontier models like ChatGPT 4.o in tasks like these.
