Stress is a cope. Stress will not cause permanent hair loss it will however speed up the process.

Hairloss takes a long ass time to show since hair has a life cycle of like 6 years before it dies and is replaced by a new follicle. People on chemo for example get lots of hair loss but if those people go off chemo they regrow their hair. Stress could maybe push hairloss 5 years ahead but its not going to cause something that otherwise would not have occurred.

So if you are stressed asf maybe you will go bald at 25 instead of 30 because you are losing hair from physical stress but the body is usually pretty good at regrowing hair. People who are balding basically have a point in time where follicles no longer regen meaning when the hair dies its gone forever. This is why you need to catch this early. The longer you have hair loss in an area the harder it is to recover it. I think even hair transplants become impossible after years of being bald.

Even hair transplants don't work on people who have been bald for years. They work well when you do it sooner rather then later and there is still a follicle left to revive.

My dad just started balding at 53 and my mom's dad never started balded before passing away at 74. My mom's brother started balding at like 40 though. Reckon I'll be fine?

Decent chance you could go bald. Maternal uncle has it. But as long as its not at 25-30s its not as big of a deal just keep an eye out for it take a pic of your actual hairline once every year.

You don't seem to have truly bad hair loss genes so if your young most likely you are fine. Having a bad hairline does not mean balding but if you notice your hair line is getting worse then you need to take action. But from what you told me I would be very surprised if you were the type of person to have bad balding by your 20's

So in all likelyhood this will not be something you need to worry about till 30 just track it from time to time

btw baldness at 21 is very aggressive. not sure fin will help. then he'll have to jump on the duta, and probably with some experimental AA topical blocker stuff like ru58841, or strong growth boosters like oral minox, which can affect the heart.
