I used to give him my car to go buy stuff etc. but one day we were drinking and he took my keys and crashed the car.

I used to give him the car because I thought that’s what friends do, don’t judge.

Not heavily, he destroyed the front bumper and the radiator. I fixed the radiator for $40 (probably costs 200-300 in the west) and I expected him to pay. 3 months went by and he still didn’t pay.

How can you find normal friends these days I don’t get it. And it’s always money or pussy that ruins relationships.

You should forgive him and move on. It's only 40 bucks so forget about it, don't create an issue about it. Just limit your interactions with him from now on. Be careful with who you befriend. I usually have a somewhat of a slow interrogative phase with a person before deciding I want to befriend him or not. Only then social media is exchanged and only then I start socially interacting with the person even more. Making friends by drinking or doing drugs is not a good way to make friends.
