For context we were dating online and planning to meet kinda soon (we still might as friends)and we're 15 and 16. So 2 days ago she told me she wanted to break up. I asked her all of her reasons and she basically said she felt like she was wasting time because she would never see me in real life and that she still loves talking to me. She said our current relationship hardly even felt like a relationship and when I asked how to make it feel more like one she said she didn't want a relationship. At this point I was practically begging her to stay :feelswhy:. She said if she hated me she would stay with me and just resent me but that she actually loves and cares about me and doesn't want to hurt me by stringing me along. She said she felt like even though she liked talking to me she felt forced to. She is still texting me as a friend about stuff we normally would but most of her answers are one or two words. She also keeps apologizing and saying she didn't want to have to hurt me. Am I delusional for thinking when we are older this relationship could continue if we live closer? To add some more things we have the exact same music taste (incelcore/emo)and we have the exact same humor. We agree on pretty much everything and never argued our entire relationship. This almost seemed to be out of nowhere but I think this makes s lot of sense. I still love her and I feel like I will wait. She also stated that she was still physically attracted to me (I have been very insecure about my looks the whole time we've been together). Am I retarded to think we would work well as adults?

I am going insane and I just wanted to type out what happened to me, if I wasn't so schizo I'd have formatted it better.

You’ll get over it trust me

When I got sent the ”she’s busy bro” texts at 3am by her supposed ”best friend” who she had met a week ago and who was also 18 while she was 14 I didn’t even feel anything, I didn’t cry and I just felt relief you know

Our relationship was perfect I can’t say that it wasn’t, I wasn’t unhappy but the relief I felt when I realised that she was a cheater helped me to never cry to her after our breakup even to this day

Why? Because now I know what a whore she was and if I had stayed, got married, had kids etc. She would have either been cheating on me the whole time or started cheating at some point

I was blinded by love, now that I look back I realise that she showed so many cheater tendencies since the beginning of our relationship and I’m so glad I found out she’s a cheater because now I’m fully over her

I always told myself in my mind that there is only 2 ways that this relationship will end in a way that I can move on.

Either she cheats on me or kills herself.

Happy you overcame that. The problem is this girl is actually kind and says she cares abt me which makes it harder.

Holy shit dude genuinely what are you doing? Block her and move on, wtf is this? Brother we are the same age and I felt the same but you did everything wrong. When she said let’s break up, you should’ve said okay and moved on. Period. No asking questions or doing shit. Everything she said is a lie and she just lost attraction. It’s hard to say this but GENUINELY move on. Online relationships NEVER work. I tell this to you as a guy who’s been in multiple who’s also your age. I’ll make a guide very soon on how to talk to girls RIGHT and the mindset you need so you never react like a nice guy because this is actually sad to read cuz I also used to be like this. I’m hoping the best for you and be patient brother cuz I’ll post a guide very soon

Move on kid. Nothing good can come if it, I promise. You'll just end up wasting time and spiraling into confusion.

It's pretty hard to argue with someone you only have an online relationship with. And the only thing that's worth having in common with a girl is your vision for the future.

Don't stay friends with her. Cut the cord and don't be lurking about on her social media. You're gonna hurt for a while but it will pass after about a month.

You have to move on. Yes nothing new and it's easier said than done but there is nothing you can do to salvage this. Do not keep contact with her, nothing, niet, nada, rien.

If you want some real incentive, here's a hard pill to swallow ; she's possibly having already 10 bodies in just the few days it takes for you to feel miserable. And it will add up, time will pass and she'll get her fun while you'll still be miserable.

So don't. Take action today, forget, erase everything, start anew. The quicker the better, trust me.

Thanks man, I'm not staying friends with her anymore, not exactly by my own choice but still it's for the better.

I don't think I want to pursue any relationships until I'm out of high school and can sustain myself.

I hope I find a girl who's on the same page as me on everything.

I doubt she's had any bodies but I agree she's definitely been talking to other guys in the past week or so after we broke up.

I would be a little mad if she gets into another online relationship but if she gets with a guy who lives near her I can definitely respect it.

Definitely gonna steer clear of dating anyone else personally though, kinda mentally taxing.

No and no once again. I don't want to hurt you but you need to realize that no matter what, every girl acts like this. This is not black pill, it's the reality.

In fact, I would not be surprised she already got a plan B way before she finally decided to break up. Because that's how they operate, it's biology ; they monkey-branch from one option to another. She was still keeping in touch with you but there's a very high probability there was already someone else for a quite while.

This is a harsh truth you need to understand cause you maybe become one day a girl "plan B" then you will understand what I'm saying.

Remember no matter the woman/girl, they all act the same. Don't fall into the cope, try (I know very hard) to forget about her, literally. Because this "doubt she had any bodies" is a natural cope reaction from us men. Yes she definitely had/has and yes she was/is talking to other guys.

Move on. Godspeed and may you heal son.
