August last year I suddenly stopped posting. I came back a few times to check updates and see what people were saying on my profile, but I never responded again.
The day I left, I went out and got a job. I’ve been working as a salesman and I’m now a supervisor and buyer at a pawn shop in my town. On my first day I was going to drop a post about how my colleague (who no longer works with me) is a TikTok blackpilled gymcel who asked me if I knew what the black pill was. I thought people would just call it LARP, though, so I never bothered.
I might still drop a thread ranting about that person, but first I want to make a final goodbye before disappearing into oblivion. I know I’m not renowned, but at least for me it feels satisfying to leave this world behind properly.
I never got therapy, but ever since that day my life has changed completely and I’ve grown as a person. During this time I’ve been making good money and started hobbies that make my life feel blissful. I became more social outside of work, met a lot of new people, and made a lot of new friends. I started a manga and comic collection. It’s pretty big now. I stopped caring so much about entering relationships and focused on looking and feeling good about myself in a non-toxic way. For about five months I got compliments from girls and older middle aged women, and IOIs like never before, to the point where I’ve gotten used to it. Colleagues even make tongue-in-cheek jokes about it. Of course I never thought too much of it. I just felt normal, not subhuman, just a person. I downplayed the attention I was getting, but I liked it. Who wouldn’t? Because of my job I also became more confident and outspoken.
In December I met a girl at work. I asked her if something had piqued her interest and we started a conversation. I asked about her earrings, we spoke of dressing different and just being unique and she ended up asking for my number. She’s beautiful, with green eyes, pale skin, a bit of freckles, and her features, face and bone structure are just perfect. She has the most beautiful body too. At first I said no because she’d be classified as JB, but she’s legal here. She’s 17 and I’m 20. She asked for my number again after I said no with the premise that we can be friends maybe, and I said yes. I didn’t think much would come of it. She texted me immediately after she left. I arranged a hangout and we spent the weekend together. I met her dad. It was fun, very fun. We started dating pretty soon after. We opened up about everything and cried together. We’ve been dating ever since, even when she was almost 900 km away living with her mom. I went out of my way traveling to see her, traveling with her, met her parents, and everything. They approve of us and like me a lot. She’s my first everything. I've seen and listened the voice notes she shared with her friends the day she met me. She's obsessed, I've never felt so special before. We haven’t gone as far as intercourse yet, but we’ve done just about everything else. She’s a virgin just like me. I feel like I’m experiencing a part of life I missed out on. I don’t feel ashamed or bad for being inexperienced. I feel loved. Just recently, before we started exploring each other more, we confessed our love and said “I love you” to each other. It’s been seven months already. We didn’t say those words the first six months, but we told each other we deeply liked and cared for one another. Love is a strong word and feeling, but I feel that it’s appropriate because we do feel that now. I'm a man now working for my future, my family and the one I love
I want to say goodbye to this part of my life because I feel as though I’ve matured. Even if things don’t work out or things go bad, I will move forward. I don’t think badly of this chapter of my life. I was there, and if I hadn’t been, I wouldn’t be here now. I used to spend day and night sleeping and doomscrolling on forums, afraid to go outside, being sad every day, insecure about myself. I didn’t need therapy, it seems. My life has turned over entirely.
Goodbye everyone.
My life feels illuminated now. Bright.
I no longer feel gloomy.
