My hair falls out when i grow them???

I used to have short hair before summer,no shedding no hair falling out nothing.
I grew them throughout summer and a week ago my shedding came back and i saw alot of hair just falling out like before.
I just went to the barber today and got a haircut cus i was scared my hair would fall out.
Please does anybody know anything?

Your hair naturally always shed. You just notice it more cuz it’s longer.
Same thing happens with me and I’m Norwood 0

Are you sure? i swear i could see less shedding when i had shorter hair
