It's a mystery but I look low end of normal when I take pictures and the light isn't shining directly on my head. But when the slight shines I can see some scalp. This is probably diffuse thinning. The worse thing is there are no decent options. With male pattern baldness, you can at least hope for a hair transplant. No can do with diffuse. They don't want to damage the strong hair follicles on sight. So you have to kind of opt for certain haircuts. This is worse than receding hairline , tbh.
