Anyone have any insight on why my vertex started before I even hit Norwood 2? Im starting Finasteride soon regardless, but I always thought it was weird that the back of my head was thinning worse than the front.

I can fraud it pretty easily if I style my hair. This only started a year ago as well so Finasteride will grow it all back. Just doesn't make any sense why the back is more sensitive to dht than the front

Fin works better the sooner you take it. So get the prescription asap. I was in your position but didn't wait as long.

Are you recessed? I read a theory by someone that basically said if you are recessed you are more likely to lose hair in back of head first

I have "baby hairs" at every part where I lost hair so it should all come back right?

Interesting. I don't think I'm terribly recessed. I did have shit nerd neck posture for years. I have a deepbite with TMJ that I'm fixing with invisalign now. Never had any extractions. You can kind see where my lips are recessed from bad placement from my bite. Infraorbitals are definitely recessed
