My handwriting is fucking shit

I have the handwriting of a literal 2 year old. My friends call it chicken scratch, and teachers give me lower grades because they can't read it. When I force myself to write better, it is still unintelligible. Handwritingpill is so brutal

I was taught to write in cursive
My normal handwriting is just cursive but not connected, all the flicks and ticks, it looks fancy
My handwriting is utter shit, compared to the other kids growing up, who learned the same way, it looked garbage
But to people who didn't grow up writing cursive, which is 99% of people, they look at it and think they can't read it, or not read it very well, simply because it's too fancy, and can't read cursive, just lol

My handwriting hasn't improved in the slightest since I was 5

Holy fuck, the same shit happened to me. I was forced to write in strictly cursive up to when I was 11, and then told that my teachers couldn't mark cursive, and that I'd have to write normally. My shit gets compared to ancient hieroglyphics.
