So my HTN friend keeps venting to me about this. He says he tries to talk to people all the time, but they ignore him, give dry responses, or just don’t engage. Then he sees me talking to the same types of people and says I make it look effortless.


The thing is, I’m not doing anything crazy. I’m not some giga extrovert or ntpiller in fact im nd but mask it well. I just talk normally, keep eye contact, don’t seem nervous, and don’t force the convo. I take pregab as well to help with inhibition levels.
