Its been a year since I've spoken to my friend. This dude had so many stories and shit going on in his life while the only thing I've done for a year is rot and play video games isolated from society. He started screen sharing his phone to show me a text convo with one of his friends he was telling me about, and shit man, it really did something to me seeing his phone. Dude was in Imessage and had a huge lineup of people he was texting, including his girlfriend and some side chicks. Everyone was responding quick and and being super nice to him. Showing interest in his life. It all seemed so foreign to see first hand. Dude then went to instagram, and once again had so many different dms with so many different people. Showing me girls who reply to his stories, his followers, group chats.

When we hung up I opened my phone only to see my reality No texts, no friends, no social media, nothing.
