I sit in my room doing summer work and going to the gym. I have an internship, but it's online, so it doesn't count.
Instagram is brutal. Seeing classmates hanging out with friends while I'm isolated 24/7 is a brutal experience.
I'm 17. This is my last "summer break." When I go to college, I'll be slaving away at company internships for 40 hours a week over the summer.
In my teenage years, I didn't get to experience human connection. I didn't get to experience teen love. I didn't get to have hope for the future.
