They score 130 after taking the test 20 times lol, scoring 130 at the first time is a more difficult task. Some of them even just assume/guess the answers without actually knowing anything. When you take the test repeatedly you will score far higher.

The value they have is they can give you a rough indication. Based on what we know, it is unlikely someone is scoring sub 100 on a test like Mensa.no and then suddenly jumping 2sd on a standardized test.

Not really, the faster you answer the more likely youd have the wrong question, I finished mine in 13 minutes but it’s always a good idea to use the time you got to get a higher result. An actual IQ test should’t be much different it just has way more time advantage meaning you have a chance of scoring even higher in a real iq test because of the more time advantage.

A full scale intelligence test maybe. mensa.no is fairly similar to the WAIS PRI Matrix reasoning subtest and ravens progressive matrices test, which would be the gold standard for this kind of thing and one of the most g-loaded subtests for the PRI(Perceptual reasoning index, or what is meant to measure one’s ability to solve novel problems) It really is not that different at all. Not sure why people act like it is for some reason.

These are the top three tests used as the gold standard for measuring IQ. I could come on here and brag about my ASVAB score of 99 which converts to a 183 IQ per the ASVAB to IQ calculator, or use my 40 Wonderlic score which converts to a 138 IQ. I took the Wonderlic after high school graduation and the ASVAB after graduating college so a solid natural progression. However, these numbers are drastically over inflated.

I believe IQ is excellent for certain high paying jobs like in the tech industry or in the financial sector. However, when it comes to inventing things and advancing society, this is where creativity comes plays a more significant role. Now, when you combine these two traits together if working at an extremely high level that's where you end up with people like Leonardo Davinci and Nikola Tesla.

If I were to estimate their IQ's I'd say they would've had roughly a 185-220 IQ. Say if we were to grade creativity on a scale from 0-100, I'd guess both would grade around an 85-95.

i think the reason inductive reasoning tests are favored for IQ tests is that it’s meant to be a measure of your potential, not one’s realized intelligence. So something more innate like induction is a better fit than deductive reasoning which is more “learned”
