If you keep the tab open even if you're not active on the website it will still add to your Time online

Even if you close the tab and then make a quick 1 minute check 10 minutes later, those 10 minutes that you weren't browsing will also count on your Time online

If it was correct it'd mean that I've spent an average of over 13 hours/day over the course of 7 months

I think it adds you an hour whenever you open the site even if it was for few seconds, if you look at last person in members online they were last seen 59 minutes ago but they are still counted as online.

Your time online is definitely not an accurate representation, it is actually way less for everyone.
