my last day in the army

i had to drive a truck with an officer and pick up some things from differetn places. it wasnt anything difficult, in fact i volunteered for it. anyway, i drove him to some places and we went to the final area. and that area was the street where i parted ways with my itis. i was waiting for him in the truck and i kept thinking about her, i just wanted to see her again, ok???

But ofc that wasnt gonna happen. she has long gone back to her hometwon, married with a kid. so much for independency and careermaxing, only to me did she act like that.then i went back to the base, then drove back to my home to cry over her.
