Don't remember where but I remmeber seeing dietary fat is needed for sex hormone production and libido, you can search up. My personal experience checks out, much higher libido when I eat more dietary fat (very noticeabley imo)
Cholesterol isn't really the rate-limiting factor of steroidogenesis. Heavy doses of statins might reduce testosterone by 10%, to give you an idea. Anyway, I'm injecting exogenous testosterone (200mg TRT) and I take DHT too. So that can't be it.
