My life has been downhill, not in a good way

i'm downhilling to sewers, it's easy but it aint good. if i ever want to start living and have a life, my starting point is giga negative.
but who knows maybe life is like a snake and ladders game. maybe i end up in a ladder and suddenly get ahead of everyone.

yeah but in life each step means rolling dice. there are snakes there are ladders, one succeeds and assumes he rolled the dice good. one fails and assumes he rolled it badly. not knowing, it's always a probability and out of their control.

however it's not turn based, you can roll as much as you like. so by rolling more are we making the ladders and snakes more irrelevant and we only care about going forward even tho slowly.(small steps)
