They have families and it gives them meaning even though it literally SUCKS to have kids and there are studies to prove it. It's still fulfilling on some level.

Life kinda sucks for evreyone except a very few people.
People cope by having kids and stuff, but man, i've got a lot of friends now who have kids and it looks like fucking torture.
The funniest is when they look SO stressed out and tired, whilst their girlfriends are now getting fatter and grumpier now that they've nailed down their man, and then he says 'when are you gonna have kids and get a serious girl, Wristcel?' despite him spending the last hour telling me how much life sucks.

There's actually a word for it but I can't remember it. Any wordsmiths here? It's basically a word for people wanting you to be as miserable as them I think so they kinda encourage you do to it lol. It's the something 'effect' I think? I knew it once.
