Games such as Heavy Rain, Detroit, and Beyond: Two Souls are similar to my life because each of these games’ plots deal with the protagonist making choices and the ending and the way things end up is either good or bad dependon which choice the player made.
Mine is like that except for one thing;
no matter what choice I make, the outcome is still the same.
No matter what choice I make, it doesn’t matter, life chooses what it wants to happen. I’m just given the illusion of choice.
Let’s say, for example, my life was a game and right now I was given two choices:
Press X to wake up and text your girlfriend to wake up for work. Press O to sleep through it and forget to text her.
and I’m like, shit, I’m pressing X, I want our relationship to prosper with small things like this being the foundation.
Yet, life will be like, “I see you chose the letter X. Well, that does not matter. I’m choosing letter O for you.”
and so just like that, life chooses what it wants and I don’t get shit.
TLDR: my life is like a choose your own ending video game except no matter which choice I make, the ending is bad no matter what, so it doesn’t matter what I do
