My life would be 10x easier if I had an American passport

When did you ever hear in news making a big deal of 3 German/Portugese citizens on board this a big deal. We must protect them? Never @lnceIs @cobicado901
I mean yeah the portuguese governament has 0 power when it comes to global politics.

btw do you think Australia is also a good place to emigrate? Im currently feeling the masculine urge to move to US or Australia

The cost of living (especially housing/rent) in Portugal is higher than both countries. I love this country more than anything but Iโ€™m completely lost for the future. I also would like a new restart point idk.

Pick California similar climate to Portugal and specialize in something and get some experience. Tech us great but anything works just don't come to the US without a degree and prior experience unless you are very rich.

in 6 months I get my degree in data science. I didnโ€™t get an excellent grade because I was working too. Idk if it will work but l definitely think about it. I would be insanely happy if I made 5k/month here tho (but itโ€™s impossible as an young adult)

Thats great. Do you have experience working with big data. Like Kafka and Spark. Those are in very high demand in US

0 experience. I work with a small company here and itโ€™s just analytics and excel shit.

I think itโ€™s impossible for me to go to California so I just want my โ€œprojectโ€ here to succeed.

You been watching too many Hollywood movies, as of now, despite all โ€œMuh opportunitiesโ€, Jewnited states is one of the worst countries to live in. The big cities basically just look like they belong to Mexico now.

California yes but overall it's still not bad. Plenty of white majority neighbourhoods.

I gotta be honest. If your resume is not competitive and in the top 1% you'll struggle to land jobs in bay area. You are competing with some of the best people in the world in their fields
