In my second year of college, after I finally started showing up to classes regularly,
What were you doing instead?

I'm guessing you're already a party chad jock by the point of meeting her so this is no challenge to you. Marching and parade...military? Bonus multiplier. Was this supposed to inspire incels?

I used ChatGPT to paraphrase the writing and make sense of my incoherent and scatterbrained ramblings but the story is written by me.

In my second year of college, after I finally started showing up to classes regularly, I sat next to a girl who was cute and very feminine. At the time, I didn’t think much of it. I was completely focused on redeeming myself academically I had messed up in the beginning of the semester and missed several classes, so I had no idea what was going on and didn’t even have the course syllabus.

I asked her if she could share her notes. She kindly agreed. Not only did she give me her notes to copy, but she also patiently explained the concepts I didn’t understand and helped me study. We exchanged numbers and started talking regularly. To me, she was just a helpful friend and nothing more. I was in full grind mode, focused only on improving my grades.

What I didn’t realize was that she had started developing feelings for me. She later told me she gave me plenty of obvious signals and was secretly hoping I would ask her out. But I stayed completely oblivious, buried in my studies.

By the end of third year, I had raised my CGPA enough that I no longer needed to attend classes (our university had no attendance requirement once you crossed a certain GPA). I switched to evening classes because of morning parade and marching drills, and we gradually grew apart. She had actually tried to match her schedule with mine, but I didn’t notice at the time.

Then I went to the California for a while. When I returned, she decided it was now or never and then she came up to me, visibly nervous, and said:

“Hey, how are you? I just wanted to tell you something… Since the second semester, I’ve had really strong feelings for you, but I never found the right opportunity to say it. If you’re okay with it, I’d like to see where this could go.”

Her confession took me by surprise. We started seeing each other, and after just a week, I already knew she was someone special. I asked her to be my girlfriend, and she happily agreed.

That was eight months ago. We’ve been together ever since, and our relationship is still going strong. We graduated, and through it all, we’ve grown incredibly close. She still loves me deeply, and I still find her just as interesting and amazing as the day we started. I’m really grateful things worked out the way they did.
THE dream, honestly cant think of anything better than this in terms of love stories while keeping it in irl domain and not making it too grotesque-animeish. btw tag me under your threads bhai

so you joined them BEFORE going to college and they gave you a free ride or similar? And you're pretty much set for life because they'll help pay for other stuff and give connections to other jobs too? But then you were depressed ptsd or something because you were in the military? I mean if you were already in the military you were probably already somewhat chadly

No no nothing like that. I got into the University with my own hard work and drifted away into bad company because of fomo. I had always been a hard working student but life felt meaningless at the time so I started partying around.

The friends i made much later when I started taking my life seriously were much more useful and gave me the connections I needed. My parents also paid for my education completely and my dad also gave me a large monthly allowance. I used to enjoy with his money and call whenever I wanted. I was a bit of a spoilt brat

No I was actually depressed before then. The uniform actually gave me direction and meaning in life that I lacked.
