look into a palate expander if yours is narrow which is the underlying reason for tooth crowding anyway. Braces are like putting a bandage on the actual problem.

i would say go to another and fake symptoms of sleep apnea / breathing difficulties

its a side effect of narrow palate so i theorize it would work and in fact im trying it myself to get the ortho to give me an expander

i told him that my tongue doesn't fit in the upper palate correctly and its causing me discomfort and other problems but he is still refusing i tried going to another and they told me that a palate expander will cause more teeth spacing and when i said i dont care they said it will be dangerous or whatever and than they told me mom that braces are needed untill i become 19 and than i have to take off my wisdom teeth

i literally told him the same thing i said that i can just get braces after a palate expander or use both braces and a palate expander at the same time but he still refused its just a huge scam so they can make more money

You should get jaw surgery after 19, but let the maxfac surgeon decide whether you need preop braces or if you're a candidate for surgery first approach, get some CT scans done and book a consultation with a maxfac asap, orthodontists never address the root of your problems, and they only make money from extractions and orthodontic treatment, they work similar in nature to that of big pharma companies, they don't get money for giving you a perma solution
