Going to an orthodontist next week to try to get my recessed mandible fixed. my mom says ''your chin looks okay, they are people who have it way worse'' and my dad says ''you just gotta accept your body, what comes next? your getting botox for your lips''. I know that its normal for parents to not accept stuff like this, but I think they are exaggerating. Its probably just some metal pieces you put into your mouth to pull the mandible forward. Its not like a surgery or sum. Its better that I try to fix it now, when it still might be fixable without surgery. I also probably have to pay everything alone, which is okay because I have a small business, but imma prob be broke after that.
Yall got any tips?
