I'm not like a total alcoholic where I need it everyday, but it does feel good when I'm feeling shitty tho. I mostly use moderation and don't get insanely drunk and usually only have enough to make me feel kinda good. I'm also not stupid enough to drink and drive and am always sober when driving. Unironically driving is one of my main hobbies and with the shitty weather we've had lately it's made it impossible to go for fun spirited drives on the highway and being without that actual hobby for now pushes me to alcohol more lmao

As for life issues, some things might be able to be fixed/ worked through over time but a lot of it is just unchangeable like some physical health problems and loss of some close family members. Probably half of my close family is gone and that's not exactly an easy thing to live with
