That’s how parents are. They cannot accept that their child may know better on a topic than them, and they’re too ignorant to do the research. This is why i lie when It suites me to and have zero remorse from lying to my parents and neither should you. I’m lucky my parents were smart enough to say “ewww noooo” when doctor said he would pull teeth so my jaw’s normal but imagine if they hadn’t. Brutal

Never understand some parents.. my mom didn't want to believe me so she made me pay 50 bucks to go and confront my jew foid ortho who convinced us to remove my premolars in the first place and she deflected the concerns and said plenty of other people have snoring/breathing, postural issues even without extractions. My low T sleep apnea ridden ahh didn't even consider straight asking for a referral to a surgeon.
