she also did cause me a lot trauma about opening up to people and always using my vulnerabilities against me

yes it might be painful, you don't have to do it right away, you can take time and think about it


but it would be quite sad if they were seriously regretful and they never got to make it up to you, forgiveness has many benefits,

no human being is perfect, you should try to give ur mom a second chance

i’ve got a neglectful mom and sometimes shes all friendly and i feel like i’m in a normal family and other times shes the worst person ever.

as long as you live with her, talking to her will make things easier. just pretend you like her & cut contact the second you leave, much simpler that way

Same for me I get u nigga. Mine abandoned me when I was 16 her husband was beating me I was 5"5 late bloomer so I had to leave alone. That guy was beating me since I was 4. She didnt even allow me to see my dad during my childhood and he died when I was 14. It's just how life is ur parents are just the blackest of the blackpoll it's pure luck.
