My mouth tape keeps coming off at night

I use a strip of duct tape vertically across my lips
Sometimes it stays on
Other times I wake up and find it randomly stuck to my body, as though I ripped it off in my sleep
Today I woke up with my lips together (I think), but the tape had come off the bottom lip and wrapped under the top lip. I must have opened my mouth at some point.

A couple of years ago I used a sleep recording app to see if I was mouth breathing, but all I could hear was heavy nasal breathing

Buy mouth tape that is advertised to stay on, works for me. but I always lose the nose stripe

That’s too expensive
The tape I use is strong
Only when I sweat does it come loose, but that’s not a problem atm
I think I must be opening my mouth rapidly or pulling it off unconsciously, probably the latter
