I often express my views on politics and related topics to my parents, as they’re the only outlet, in which I can express my views freely without demonization. It’s a lot more authentic than expressing oneself in an anonymous forum. Plus, my Dad is non-judgmental, and is one of those parents that doesn’t care too much about his son’s views.
Regardless, my Dad is too naive and blue-pilled. He believes sex to be some insignificant thing for a woman, that should be widely encouraged by society, as it’s “just another form of pleasure and exercise.” He also believes that it’s fine that society doesn’t hold former sluts and prostitutes accountable once they get married, given that “they eventually have to settle down anyways.” He’s an educated second-generation liberal Asian American for context. The type of Asians that dominate academia. I can’t necessarily blame him for holding these beliefs, given times were easier for men, and his Changlite past (given he was HTN, 130+ IQ, Ivy League educated, multi sport athlete, and very NT). Still, I wish he’s wasn’t so naive and misguided about the world.
